Hi, I'm Krystle von Fange, and I run MouthShield, a business rooted in our personal journey to help others achieve better sleep.
My husband and I launched MouthShield after facing significant challenges with his CPAP therapy following a diagnosis of obstructive sleep apnea. Initially, he started with a full-face mask, but it disrupted his sleep too much. Switching to a nasal mask was a step forward, but issues with mouth opening during sleep persisted, reducing the therapy’s effectiveness.
We explored several options, including chin straps and mouth tape, but each solution had drawbacks—chin straps were uncomfortable and restrictive, while mouth tape caused skin irritation. Our search for a better alternative led us to create the first version of what is now The Original MouthShield. This simple yet effective device prevented mouth breathing and significantly improved both sleep quality and CPAP compliance.
With positive results from our prototype, we decided to refine the design and work with a local manufacturer to bring it to market. Since then, MouthShield has evolved to meet the needs of other CPAP users. We have implemented a new version that is slightly longer and softer, addressing feedback about comfort and functionality. Our commitment is to provide products that truly make a difference in people's lives.

After a minimum of 30 days of use—allowing time for adjustment—customers can request a refund within the following 30 days if the product doesn’t meet their needs. Refunds are processed quickly, typically within three to five business days once we receive the product, with only shipping charges excluded.
